The Space
The main level has an open kitchen, living area, and a queen bedroom with full bath. Upstairs, a lofted king suite with ensuite bathroom. A third-floor reading loft with a daybed (accessible via ship’s ladder) offers the best seat in the house—and a telescope for stargazing.
Outside, the spacious deck wraps around the bluff’s edge with the cedar hot tub, a fire pit, and unobstructed views of rolling hills and forest stretching to the horizon.

The Area

The area is best known for its outdoor access. Fall Creek Falls State Park and Savage Gulf State Natural Area are both within a 30–40 minute drive and feature some of the best waterfall hikes in the Southeast. Cumberland Caverns, the second-longest cave in Tennessee, is 25 minutes away. Paragliding and hang-gliding are available less than a mile from the property.
Chattanooga is 35 minutes by car and offers the Tennessee Aquarium, Rock City, MICHELIN-recognized restaurants, and a growing craft food and drink scene.
PLEASE READ THE BELOW SECTION BEFORE BOOKING
Our property sits on a dramatic bluff—it’s what makes the views so spectacular. For safety, we don’t host children under 12, although infants may be allowed with prior consent, and we require a signed liability waiver for each booking (sent with your confirmation email after booking). The minimum age for the primary guest is 25.
We’re nestled in the woods on the Cumberland Plateau, so you’ll enjoy the sounds of nature and darker skies than you’re used to. We treat regularly for pests to keep things comfortable, although it's difficult to be completely bug free in the woods with large patio doors. Wind on the bluff can pick up during storms—part of the atmosphere, but worth knowing.
Snow is infrequent but possible in winter. A four-wheel-drive vehicle is helpful if it does. No pets. No smoking. Self check-in via keypad.
